Suggestion to Streamline OpenRouter Model Management in TypingMind

I’ve been really enjoying TypingMind—it’s a fantastic tool! Many of the improvements I’d love to see have already been requested by others in the community, but there’s one specific pain point I’d like to highlight:

The Challenge:
With models frequently appearing, disappearing, or changing, I often find myself manually adding, removing, or reordering OpenRouter’s custom models. The current workflow requires multiple steps:

1. Navigate to "Add a Model,"

2. Go to OpenRouter,

3. Insert my API key,

4. Search for the model, etc.

This process can feel repetitive and time-consuming.

The Idea:
I don’t have a fixed solution in mind, but it would be amazing if there were a more seamless way to manage OpenRouter models—perhaps even selecting them directly from the chat interface. I’m not sure how feasible this is, but I’d love to hear what others think!
