Simple macOS companion app wrapping plugin server

Instead of having to download and set up npm, etc. it would be good to bundle all the things needed into a macOS app + a launchd config that runs the server in the background. It would be very useful for non-technical people.

If you are worried about maintaining it (since you also deprecated the macOS native app), just publish a build script to build such and app. The person setting it up (like me for my parents) can build and distribute the package manually if need.
