Sidebar chat or Temporary Question

Feature Request

I do not know what to call this feature, but I believe it was recently removed. The feature should be in a menu in the chat similar to “fork…”, but open a temporary chat window. The user can then engage in a temporary chat to clarify or get a quick question answered without it going into the regular chat thread.

      I think I just found it. It is the “Ask” button shown below. It appears you must select some text in the response. Was it always this way, or did the UI for this feature recently change? I see the temporary chat icon in the upper right, which only appears for a blank new chat - and no, that is not what I was referring to. I was referring to what is now the “Ask” button. I am glad this feature is still there, but I would like to know if the way to access it or the UI has changed recently?
