Rename files

Feature Request

I’d love to be able to rename files I upload.

Now, you might think “you can do that on your computer”, but I’m specifically referring to copying large amounts of text/markdown into the chat window, where they’re converted to text files.

I often do this, and then I see loads of “clipboard.txt” files that I can’t quite recall what they were, which makes it unclear which context I’ve provided/pasted and which context I still need.

Right now, I typically "Paste them as text”, realize what they were, than copy/paste them back into the context window.

    Clipboard pasting renaming

    When pasting a big piece of text, the default option is to upload a file called “clipboard.txt” and there is an option to “Paste as text”. The feature is great but when managing memory or chat context later (like when deleting some large messages or excluding from context), its not easy to identify which “clipboard.txt” is useful and which isn’t.

    It would be extremely useful to be able to quickly rename that .txt file to identify it later.
