Raise File Upload Limits

Feature Request

One of the major blockers for our users is file upload limits. I know that Typingmind does not restrict the token limits of LLMs, but it seems like file upload size limitations are significantly reduced, compared to using the LLMs outside of Typingmind.

Our users love the product we have built on Typingmind, but the most consistent complaint/request is that we need to raise the file upload limits. Is this something you can do you?

If Typingmind's pre-processing didn't alter the file upload limits of the different LLMs, it would be a next-level product. I know of people accommodating larger files through chunking, which may be something to consider.

    Updated: There is now no limit on the file size you can send to LLM. Limits for cloud storage still apply.

    I think problem is that LLMS have token limits, so you wouldn’t be able to send all file to LLM to process, 3rd party services outside typing mind do it differently - they create vector index of that file, they run search in that file and attach it to your prompt without you knowing it.

      What you said is accurate, but I don’t think it addresses the point I made. I’m concerned with the pre-processing step in Typingmind — it appears to restrict the size or number of files that can be uploaded before they even reach the model. For example, there seems to be a 25MB per-document upload limit, even though the model itself can handle documents larger than that when used outside of Typingmind.
