Preserve state of widget

We currently test chat widget with particular agent on our site.

Widget does not preserve the state after closing it. What I say is when I open the widget, then chat, then close the widget with the cross on the widget, then reopen it, the widget resets its state and the history, but I would like to see my previous messages.
