Please bring the Discord Server back online

Please bring the Discord Server back online. I got the answer from support that it was shut down because of people asking "support questions" there. This is ridicilous. The Discord server was not a support channel as described in the rules. The fact that people still asked questions which could be categorized as "support" questions should not be a reason to shut down the whole Discord server which has been a growing community of users of Typing Mind for a long time where people are able to share plugins, extensions, ideas and chat about random things like the channel names made by yourselves even suggest!

We don't want to make a new community server that you can't randomly nuke, but we will if we have to

I'm sad that I had to delete the Discord too. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I see that other users have started to set up new unofficial servers for TypingMind, here is the biggest one I found: https://discord.gg/qFCpnjVru5 feel free to join there (edit: I'm not affiliated with this Discord).

Tony Dinh what was the reason? Why so abrupt?

Why would he do this? It makes no sense at all. I couldn't care less about the support requests on Discord. It was the community that was valuable. Shut down the support channel in Discord, sure. But shutting down the entire server without notice? Strange behavior.

This left a bad taste in my mouth. Hope Tony doesn't randomly decide to start shutting down other things. What's next? The roadmap? The documentation? The app itself? Don't forget to export your data from TM just in case people.

I think the Official reply is not good enough. If it an’t broke…

Thank you for reaching out and so sorry for causing any confusion.

We have decided to shut down our Discord server and centralize all support requests to this channel instead.

I understand that this can be frustrating for some cases without a community. We will work to feature community’s works directly in the app soon.

In the future, we will consider re-establishing the community for all users.

    Thank you for your understanding.

It was out of nowhere… no communication, no heads up…. I don't like it.

Agreed. It was so interesting seeing how people used TM with custom models, plugins, etc. This is a very fast moving space and the Discord channels are critical to keep up. Please return the Discord server.

The discord server was so much a part of how and why I chose TypingMind - I learned so much and never asked for support. The community was really helpful. Why not give the server to the community without shutting it down?

Yes it's really sad. This is a big loss of trust. Why not just close the 'support' channel and let the community still exist? This is a huge loss of community knowledge and user-generated mutual support. Without a warning either.

Have to agree here this was better than any support channel from the company being collaborative

Yup, can't access it. The Discord server was the lifeblood of TypingMind. No notice either? This was a horrible decision.
