Permission by bot

Right now bots all fall under the same permissions. But often users want to test before they buy. It would be amazing to tag bots as members only vs public

Tony Dinh: Sorry, I don't think you understand. I can permission bots by tags. What I am trying to do is run both a public version and a members version on the same instance. Or have an option for unlimited seats, as we are trying to offer a pro-bono options to charities.

Mike C: i see. You can do that too. After enabling the Public mode, you can set the “Allow member login” and “Allow sign up”. It should work the way you described here.

Oh, never mind. I think I get what you mean now. You want to set tags for the "Anonymous" users, who use the chat without an account. Correct?

Consider it done. In the next update, you can select the "Anonymous" user in your instance and set tags for it. This will apply the tags for all public (anonymous) users who doesn't have an account.

You can submit another ticket here if needed.
