Password-based login
Please implement password-based login (in addition to the email version). Getting a code via email is so much more friction than a password manager auto-filling the username and password. It's very frustrating.
This would be less of an issue if the app didn't log me out every couple of weeks. Increasing the remember-me logged in period would also help remove this frustration.

Very strongly agree. This is becoming a deal-breaker for me and caused me to start actively looking for alternative platforms to move to.
If the login was more typical and I could have it autofill with a password manager, or if you didn't require re-logins so frequently (like 10x too frequently), then it wouldn't be a problem.
As it is, it is extremely annoying and disruptive, especially when using the service across multiple devices (have to do it for each of them. often!).

The app sometimes logout itself and waiting to receive email containg the code is very cumbersome

YES to this! Its frustrating as hell when the code doesn't come through (which has happened to me multiple times).

this would be very helpful as sometimes the emails don't make it or take a longish time to come
