Currently, when we assign plugins to an AI Agent, they become strictly locked, and we see the message: "Users can't change the plugins when using this AI agent."
While I understand this restriction is useful for strict workflows, it limits flexibility in daily practical use cases. For example, I want to create an agent that starts with a web search plugin enabled by default to gather initial data. However, once the initial search is done, I want to be able to turn that plugin OFF during the conversation to save tokens and prevent unnecessary background searches.
My Request:
Could you add a setting (e.g., a toggle switch in the Agent creation screen) to "Allow users to modify plugins and models during chat"?
This would give us the best of both worlds: starting a chat instantly with a predefined set of tools, while maintaining the flexibility to adjust them as the conversation evolves.
