Mac PWA app performance issues

The TypingMind PWA when installed to macOS and used as an app has some performance issues. When idle, the app often uses 60~80% CPU.

The UI also lags severely if you have over a hundred chats (well below the 10MB limit). This even on a Macbook Air M2 with 24GB RAM!

    Does this happen consistently even after you quit and reopen the app?

    Another question that we're also investigating, do you have a lot of image attachments in your chats that you aren't sync to the cloud? Local images are stored in base64 so I'm suspecting it may have caused the issue, not sure yet.

      Tony Dinh It happens reliably, in that it happens seemingly every day, but it doesn't happen consistently, in that the app can be open for multiple hours before it happens, and I can't quite predict it.

      I usually notice it happening when TypingMind is in the background while I am using some other apps, and my CPU notification tells me that I am nearing 90%, and "TypingMind Web Content" and "WindowServer" are usually the two top CPU % processes. It feels like a memory leak in that it usually requires TypingMind to have been open for some time first.

      My workflow is extremely low on image attachments, most days it is 0, and under "Manage cloud data" I usually have 0 images, and a total of <6MB of cloud data. My workflow is generally simple, nothing more than creating new chats, sending a few messages within each one - very little in terms of managing folders or lists of long chats (I mention this because I sometimes get very poor performance when opening a folder with several dozen chats).
