LaTeX not rendering properly

1) Getting AI to use $$ … $$ doesn't work consistently. Support for $ … $ should be added.

2) /[ … /] and /( … /) doesn't work at all on o3 mini and possibly other models. I can see them while the output is being sent but once it has stopped it displays as normal text.
