Knowledge Base - failed upload

I've been trying to upload files through Knowledge Base, but they're not uploading. It acts as if they're uploading, but remains in buffer mode for 10, 15, or even 20 minutes without completing. I can keep trying, but it still doesn't upload. What on earth is going on??????
