Currently, TypingMind only allows exporting all chats in bulk in a proprietary format (for re-importing into TypingMind) or exporting individual chats in human-readable formats like .md, .txt, PDF, HTML, etc.
This makes it slow and tedious to back up or archive whole folders/projects, or to export a selection of relevant chats, especially for users who manage many chats and projects.
I suggest adding a feature to:
Export a whole folder (including all its contained chats) in one step.
Allow batch selection of chats to export them together.
Choose export format (.md, .txt, PDF, HTML, JSON, etc.) for all selected chats/folders.
Ideally, preserve folder/project structure in the exported files.
This would make backup, information migration to other platforms, offline review, and organization/categorization of data much easier—especially for advanced users.
Additionally, it would be great if the batch export allowed filtering by favorites, date, tags, or projects, not just “all” or “one-by-one”.
Thank you for considering this improvement—it would save significant time and help ensure the safety and portability of user data!
