Cannot recover lost paid chats

I exported my ChatGPT 3.5 chats from OpenAI, 64 in all. The ChatGPT 4.0 chats that I had before importing them would not open. Some of those chats were paid for with my own money, some were using the Setapp account.

They were listed in the left pane for a moment but if I clicked them, the "New Chat" form would display in the right window. I restarted the program a couple of times. The first time I restarted I had to re-enter my API key. I tried the Recover Lost Data feature in Settings several times. It says it found 74 chats but when I try recovering, the app restarts but I still only have 64 chats.

If I had to guess, the missing chats are stored in the Setapp account. It would be really nice to be able to get at them soon because I was in the middle of working on one in particular.
