Agent Access to User’s Chat History for Same Agent

Is there a way, or a possibility for, a user to have their chat history with a specific agent indexable, and accessible, so that chat histories can function as a pseudo memory? Almost as if the index becomes part of the agent’s training data, then a mechanism similar to an API Data call is invoked if the specific chat or segment of chat needs to be referenced?
